VA Workforce Centers
Virginia Workforce Centers are a one-stop concept to provide you as either an employer or job seeker with employment, job training, support services, and more. The purpose of these Centers is to integrate our partners' services and coordinate all of our workforce resources in the region for job seekers, employers/businesses, skilled workers, training, and, where appropriate, incumbent workers. Walk-in to one of our Centers to meet with our team of professionals and to learn more. Click here for a listing of Centers nearest to you.
The West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board funds and monitors the region's four Virginia Workforce Centers and numerous employment services and training programs for employers, jobseekers and the youth.
The West Piedmont Workforce Investment Board and sub-recipients are equal opportunity employers/programs. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to individuals with disabilities. Primary source of funding is from the U.S. Department of Labor Employment and Training Administration.
